CREATIVE executives from the advertising agency OwenKessel put their heads together with BDFM editor in chief Peter Bruce to produce the newspaper's first television advertising campaign, a unique opportunity to market South Africa's leading business publication to a broader audience concerned about growing levels of poverty and inequality.

In this video we visited the three locations where the adverts where shot. At a location across the border a foreigner talks about how it seems money is able to buy certain people more rights; at a school in South Africa a young pupil says without the ability to read and write there is little hope for a better future; an informal settlement dweller laments how long it is taking to build decent homes.
