PITSO Mosimane says he will give his counterpart Steve Komphela a call to help him through the tough times.

The calls for Komphela to leave his position as head coach of Kaizer Chiefs intensified after his team lost 1-0 to Jomo Cosmos on Tuesday.

That was Chiefs’ fourth consecutive loss, and Amakhosi did not score a goal in those matches.

Mosimane, whose Mamelodi Sundowns side are flying high, says he feels sad when domestic coaches are struggling in the league.

"I would like for Steve to stay in the job (at Chiefs). I will give him a call … He must hang in there. These are tough times," Mosimane said.

The Brazilians have won the Telkom Knockout this season, and lead the table by four points ahead of Wits with seven matches remaining. Chiefs will end empty-handed.
