DOMINIC Thiem is up to 14th in the ATP world tennis rankings following his second tournament win within a month in Acapulco.

The 22-year-old Austrian, who has been tipped for stardom for some time, won a tournament in Buenos Aires in mid-February and on Sunday, he defeated Australian hope Bernard Tomic in three sets. Tomic moves up one place to 20th.

The top 10 is unchanged with Stan Wawrinka keeping his fourth ranking by winning the tournament in Dubai. Top-ranked Novak Djokovic was forced to withdraw from that tournament with an eye infection.
