South Africa’s home-grown multinational petrochemicals company Sasol has launched a 10ppm diesel fuel into the domestic market on its own forecourts. This is the lowest sulphur content diesel available locally, and has advanced properties to keep engine fuel injection systems clean and lubricated.

In this video Alistair Anderson talks to Sasol Oil MD Alan Cameron about this new fuel, which produces less harmful exhaust emissions than other hydrocarbons, and Sasol’s plans to capture a greater share of the local market and bring South Africa in line with international emissions standards.
