THE Blitzboks are set to gamble on wing Bryan Habana for the next two tournaments of the HSBC World Sevens Series in Las Vegas and Vancouver.

The 32-year-old fifteens star will make his first appearance for the Blitzboks in nearly 12 years in Nevada. His last sevens outing was in 2004, before he had made the first of 117 Test appearances.

While Habana’s inclusion is a boost for the profile of the team and the tournaments they will play in, the return of four key squad members is an even bigger boost for the Blitzboks.

Squad captain Kyle Brown, Branco du Preez, Cecil Afrika and Justin Geduld have all returned to full training after recovering from their respective injuries and will be available for selection to North America.

"Bryan is an unbelievable rugby player and his outstanding playing record and achievements in the Springbok jersey speaks for itself," coach Neil Powell said.
