ANC branches in Buffalo City and Nelson Mandela Bay became the first party structures in the Eastern Cape to call for President Jacob Zuma’s removal, after the party’s disastrous local government election results.

The call was made in branch meetings and by the ANC Youth League at the weekend.

At heated meetings in the two metros, frustrated ANC members voiced their frustrations over Zuma’s presidency.
